We are excited about our 2 upcoming shows at Asheville’s U.S. Cellular Center! We’ll have special posters available on both October 31st and November 1st. Both posters are designed and illustrated by Miles Tsang, concept by Scott Avett. The Halloween night design (Oct. 31st) is printed on clear plastic – certain areas were left with no ink so you can see through the poster. Nov. 1st’s poster is printed on silver metallic paper. When you overlay the first night’s print onto the second night’s print, you can see the metallic images. A limited edition of 150 of each print will be available at the merch table on its specific night. All prints will be $50.
We are really proud to share the video for “Bring Your Love To Me” today! This video was done by Hobey Ford using the ancient art of shadow puppetry. Hobey created each of the puppets from poster board – jointing them by attaching horizontal rods – sometimes five or more rods were held together like chopsticks. Some of the characters are represented by several different puppets; each feather on the soaring magpie puppet is jointed individually. The puppets are lit from behind a translucent screen so the shadows are visible. The puppets were operated and videoed in real-time.
You can check out the video here and tune in to The Originals on The CW at 8/7c to hear “Bring Your Love To Me” in tonight’s episode!
Seth recently stopped by the Acoustic Guitar studio to perform “Souls Like The Wheels” and chat about performing on the streets of Charlotte, writing songs, and more. Check out his session here.
If you can’t make it to Austin City Limits Music Festival this weekend, you can watch our set LIVE via Red Bull TV! More info about the livestream, including where to watch, can be found here.
