Truly amazing show. This was only the second time I'd gotten to see them live, but it was absolutely one of the best concerts I've ever seen. I managed to find a spot about one or two people deep from the stage just a bit off to the right, so the view was perfect (as was the sound, aside from the technical difficulties at the beginning... guess it helped being that close). Also nice to be surrounded by some of the most dedicated and least obnoxious fans I've encountered with any band.

As much as I was looking forward to hearing stuff like Talk on Indolence, I was surprised to find that the highlight of the show for me was Tear Down the House. I've been listening to that one since the new album came out and liked it already, having been particularly drawn to that fourth verse (collapsing and screaming at the moon), but hearing it live just made the whole song come to life. I love that they always seem to write from experience, and I don't know if it's ever been more apparent to me than right then.
