Did anybody catch Sportscenter this morning? During an Australian Open highlight, the commentator asked if he was the only one who thought of "The Avett Brothers song, Brooklyn Brooklyn, you're my friend" when they saw Andy Roddick play. he pronounced the name wrong, and the song, but I think it is a pretty sweet thing when the Avett Brothers have hit the public consciousness in a way that makes pop culture references about them on Sportscenter possible. As Stewart Scott might say, "That is cooler than the other side of the pillow!"
