After a lot of deliberation, we now have a finalized track list and sequence for I and Love and You. We're very excited about it and we wanted you to be the first to know. Here it is:

So which ones ave they never played before live?

I count six unplayed in public. Am I correct?
AHHHH! I know of 7 not played, the 6 above plus Head Full of Doubt...? Has that been played?
And I heard at least Slight Figure at Danville soundcheck and maybe a couple others, but I don't count those.

I counted 7 as well. I haven't been this excited since at least Saturday.
Kinda surprised not to see any PG songs. I about jumped out of my seat when I read the email and saw the words "track list". So excited!
Kind of bittersweet, since it confirms the exclusion of Solomon... (TAB, please get it out there somehow!)

I thought I had read where someone had heard them play "Slight Figure of Speech" this spring. Perhaps is was a soundcheck.
I can not believe that Jamaica Farewell was left on the cutting room floor for this one. Ouch.

noticed Late In Life didn't make the cut...

its kind of neat for bands to have good songs, but never officially release it. that and "In The Curve"
TAB--yeah, we heard it at soundcheck in Danville plus a few other songs, but coudln't tell you now what they are.
We call one of them Bum Bum Bum b/c, well, that's what it sounded like. Talk to Timdog about that one.

think the January Wedding one could be the one that they played in Nelsonville that was something to do about a cousin passing and not going to a wedding or something? prob. not, just speculating.

In The Curve was officially released on a 2 song EP....
its definitely bittersweet - but more on the sweet side...
i was really hoping Standing W/ You was going to make it and a few others... but definintely glad to see most of this track list...
I think they may have played January Wedding last fall. There was this song that they played which I wonder if it may be January Wedding:

The track listing is perfect! Everything I was hoping for is there. I'm curious to hear the ones that I haven't heard live.
I'm guessing It Goes On and On is the bum bum bum bum song... and I like it!!
Oh so excited!! I was literally *just* in the kitchen mulling over what could be on the album and feeling very antsy to know that tracklist, wondering how I could possibly wait until August. Its so exciting to know that there are all those new songs to discover.
i'm still kind of glad they left solomon out, i love it, but it's good to have a few not make the studio tracks...this album looks great, however i agree that i am disappointed no pretty girls are on here, plus i have to say i really am not a fan of tin man or kick drum heart..other than that it should be awesome!
I'm so excited to see that there's so many songs which haven't yet blessed any of our ears!! August 11th will be a beautiful day full of new treasure!!!
You think there will also be a couple more bonus songs on maybe the iTunes or vinyl release?
August 8th is entirely too far away to be this excited. Aghhhh!!!

Which song is Skin and Bones? Is that #9 Ill with Want, perhaps?

Two of my favorites! Can't make everybody happy all of the time.
Skin and Bones is too new for the record. It was written after the sessions were complete.
I'm dying to hear Tin Man playing from my Ipod. I'm dying for the Charlotte show.

wow!!!! This is very exciting (despite some exclusions). I'm really glad I haven't heard most of this album. Perfect Space--FREAKING OUT!!!!
I am slightly disappointed that Solomon didn't make the cut even thought we already knew it probably wouldn't. However, how awesome is it that they have so much great material, that the amazing Solomon among others didn't make the cut??!! Most bands/songwriters can't afford to hold back something so incredible. I hope we get it at some point as a bonus track or a future album.
I was hoping to see that "I haven't finished the things since I started my life..." they played in Norfolk last year. I wonder if one of those are that??
6 or maybe 7 songs that they haven’t played live yet. That’s awesome!!! I was thinking after talking to Scott in Nicasio that there was a bunch of stuff on the disc that the world hadn’t heard yet, and this proves it. Just judging by the songs I’ve heard, including It Goes On and On, I think the new album is going to have a great vibe, and be totally different from anything they’ve done before. Exciting!!
Glistening Shine was also written after the new record was done... So, no it's not there...

If January Wedding is the song mentioned above....they have been playing it since late 06. SWEET! I love that song sure hope that's it.
Im so glad that this list was realesed and im glad i havent heard some of the tracks. Cant wait til august.
AH this is so exciting! I'm so relieved that there are a bunch of songs that are still unheard to make it that more incredible when we all get the album.
August is going to be a great month! I am disappointed about the lack of "Glistening Shine" and no "Pretty Girl" but they've made up for it with all the other new stuff for sure.

i wasn't a huge fan of Kickdrum heart either.. but i look at that song a lot like i look at WIll You Return... both are very similary to me - both songs really were different than anything i'd heard them put out before ... however, I really grew to like Will You Return and Kickdrum heart has somehow grown on me as well... i'm really excited to hear what it sounds like from the studio....
just to echo from before - really pumped for this album...

What's this "Glistening Shine" everyone talks about? I don't think I have ever heard it...
"Slight Figure of Speech" and "It Goes On and On" both were played at the Danville soundcheck. Mark, the song "It Goes on and On" was the one I was trying to have you hear over the phone because I knew we hadn't heard it before. I really liked the song.
We got "January Wedding" in the second to last Nelsonville show.
There are only 4 songs on the album I haven't heard yet.

I was getting worried about Tinman since they seem to have stopped playing it recently. Love this song!
Every hair on my arms just stood at full attention when I read the lyrics to January Wedding (even higher than hearing Perfect Space for the first time). Can not wait to hear this!
Man it's like Christmas in May (Tucson), June (tracklist), July (3 FL shows), August (new album, MA show), and December for me! I'm busting at the seams!
