okay. so i'm ultra depressed that i cancelled my trip to ithaca...but the storm was just too scary for a 5am return trip tomorrow. so my lovely friends are blessing me with the entire show by cellphone...and i'm gonna talk about it here. so avert your eyes if you don't want to know the setlist 'til it 's done!

listening to the low anthem now...some of the kookier instruments they play make it difficult to understand what song's being played...but i got a few, including "this god damn house" just now. got the chills, even from so far away.
that weather is horrendous!! i hope everyone makes it safe and sound.

ah, this will be nice. I, too, was supposed to be at Ithaca. It has been a sad day in Myersvilletown, but I am happy everyone arrived safely and now I'm just gonna enjoy the updates! Thanks Marissa.

phew. false alarm, people. no avetts on stage.
i love the low anthem so much, it just kills me that i'm missing them together! at least they didn't do a "cigarettes, whiskey and wild women" group thing...which they very well may at some point since they both do that song live.
ha, that would be like a stab in the heart if they do that together. I guess we can hope for video. At least Gunnar is taking in his camera, so there should be loads of great pics!

hahaha...thanks, wifeoftinman. i was feeling guilty for hijacking an entire thread, but i figured people do it for much less than this.
i'm not put off, but i'm not put off by much, swear-word wise. and in the context of the song, it works...it's this really melancholy relationship song, where the people involved don't seem to care much about anything anymore.
oh i know. my spring-is-coming attitude went right out the window. just for today.

I'm glad they're back in good form. I couldn't have asked for a better show Wednesday.
He was at least unobtrusive in Athens, but mostly unnecessary. Opened with Head Full and that was my guess on Weds. I could have made millions!
