Is the Deluxe ONLY 1k copies... or is it just 1k copies that get the nifty poster???
I had to wait til now to buy it, and I'm torn ... because I want to buy Ellipse by Imogen Heap and Bob Schneider's new album, too... which is a 9/29 release... I'm a poor teacher (and cut back to part time anymore at that). Do I get the most music... or most Avett merch?? I think the signed cover art might seal it for me... mayyybe

There aren't any more autographed copies available. Unless you go to the Envoy Gallery in NYC tomorrow night, buy one there and get it signed. But it still seems pretty awesome none the less, and I don't know about those other two bands, but I would still buy this instead in a heartbeat. Autographed album art or no.
Speaking of autographed copies...Mine was all smeary and fingerprint-ish, especially around Seth's name. I imagine the boys got a little case of messy digits in their autograph assembly line or something.
By the way Blasto, this has been mentioned in another thread, but BE CAREFUL OPENING YOURS!!! The auto lith is NOT actually contained INSIDE the box set. It's just packaged alongside, not protected in anything. In fact, it looks like someone just shoved mine inside...It's all bent and knicked along the edges. Or, I suppose it may have been packed with care, and just bumped around during shipping. Bah.

Anjanette, my autographed lithograph was a little bent on one of the corners as well. So yeah, be careful opening them when you all get it.

I have to say I am very pleased with my box set; however, I wish there had been more actual pics from Crackerfarm....I'm lovin Seth's series though....I've seen a lot of Scott's work over the years, but I didn't know Seth did personal work too......and what he wrote about the concept of 'I&Love&You' was AMAZING.......

I just about passed out when I gently openned the cardboard container and the autographed cover design came out! I am still beaming this morning and cannot believe I finally have the deluxe box set to treasure for a life time. Needless to say I immediately framed the authograph cover and then left the box set UNOPENED! Yes, like the first fan said "I wonder how many fans will not open it.." That's me. It's the Holy Grail for us die hard fans, and I am leaving it unopened for now. I promise someday to do so but for now, I am basking in the shear joy of having this piece of history.
