campaign event a couple years back? I swear I remember them playing a gig for him, but I could be thinking about someone else. Lord knows there's plenty of Democratic supporting artists out there every time an election cycle comes around. Here's why I'm asking... Page 5 of this juicy read.

I'm willing to bet the bluegrass band was Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys. He campaigned for Edwards.

Yeah I don't believe we'll see the boys making public political pushes... I just don't think that's their thing.

You know i've actually thought about this a lot. I've decided to me it doesn't matter what political party they support or if they support any party at all because they clearly have their morals, compassion, and values intact. you can tell that from their song writing. Those may not be the best words but the point is they're are good human beings....especially for the industry they're in.

I have learned not to look to artists or musicians for political advice.

That is one of the great things I love about these boards, and this band. It is wonderful to get away from politics. I have lost interest in many of my favorite bands because they have become to political. I listen to music because it is an escape from such nonsense.

No. Pretty sure about that one.

never heard of such a thing. I would say it was not them
