i was lucky enough to be there for the shoot & took a number of fotos...several of which actually turned out decent! i have a few like this from a slightly different angle, but they catch the lighting and so on, as well as all 4 band members together, which is fly. when i'm burning an avetts cd for someone (f'rinstance, the "live from newport folk" set), i usually will print one of the good fotos, turn it upside down & backwards to write out the track names, & tape it to the back of the cd sleeve so the giftee just has to flip up the foto to know what song they're hearing. i ain't no martha stewart...she wouldn't use no tape...but i think it's pretty cool, and people who get one on their cd sleeve generally at least act like they enjoy it
