It occurs to me that I must look biased, rating every album 5 stars. But I cannot help but appreciate the art and effort poured into each of these works.

"Black, Blue" did what I thought no other Avett Brothers song could do in challenging "November Blue" for most preferred spot. Some folks mentioned to me that this album was too sad. I thought the first Gleam was sadder, honestly. Another mention goes for "Souls Like The Wheels." Gorgeous guitar work.
