Now I've grown to aware of my mortality
To let go and forget about dying
Long enough to drop the hammer down
And let the indolence go wild and flying through

The Avett Brothers were my first, TRUE obsession. At first, I did not notice anything special about them and ignored my friends who were already in love with the music. But after listening to few suggested songs like Distraction #74, Talk on Indolence, Souls like the wheels, Paranoia in B-flat major, I fell in love. I went on a full week streak listening nothing but the avett brothers and my music count surpassed those I have been listening to for months. Let's just say, I went Avett crazy.
The Avett Brothers have what many contemporary artists lack these days. They have SO much passion, those indescribable until you listen to their songs, especially live versions of them. Every performance is unique and has it's own voice. You drown into their love for music and suddenly you find yourself lost in Avett Brother's world.
I especially love listening to the recording of their "live at WXPN, Philadelphia 2009" show because its so upbeat and fun with the audience engaged in the soul exhilarating performance.
I often loose track of time while blasting Avett Brother's recordings in my room and enjoy taking late night drives with my windows down and their songs in the back ground. <3 So I keep a small rule to myself. When I have a deadline or need to concentrate, I can not turn them on because I will drown in their music rather than finishing my work :PP But yes. The Avett Brothers are AMAZING.
I believe anyone can find a song they love by them because they easily cross genres from "Colorshow" to "Kick Drum Heart" and "Bella dona" to "Die Die Die"
