I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... I could go on and on about why I am a fan of the Avetts, but plain and simple there is not a more real or honest band out there today. There music is simple, it's played with unabated enthusiasm, and I have yet to find a song on one of their albums that is "filler".

An Avett Brothers show is unbelievable. If you are a casual fan before attending a show, you will be a true believer afterwords. Many bands just go through the motions during their live shows, but not the Avett Brothers. They love their music, their fans, and their chosen occupations. You cannot fake or "phone in" what they do on the stage. I have been to many concerts, featuring some of the best and most talked about bands around, yet none of them compare with the Avett Brothers live performance.
