I finally got to see the Brothers at Lehigh U last month. I have seen many different artists over the years, and based on that, I predict a long & prosperous presence for these guys. I already believed the depth of their lyrics and prolific nature rivals some of the greatest poets in music. I made the wise decision to turn my 12 year old daughter onto their music and took her to the show. Looks like TAB now have a second generation fan! We will be going to Radio City next month. I hope they do SNL and/or Letterman when in town but that will make OUR well kept secret exposed.

Historic Radio City...beautiful place, beautiful acoustics. I believe The Avett Brothers will have a long, prolific influence on music and their exposure this week at this venue is going to be important in their popularity. Anyone know other stops and spots of theirs while in NYC? WRXP, Letterman, other late night?
I always believed good things happen to good people. Besides their talent, these guys are good people as I was fortunate to meet them after the Lehigh show. Good luck boys!
