I've never really encountered a band that I could just sit and listen to over and over again. Lately I've been on a bit of a bluegrass kick and I like the fact that the Avetts aren't quite bluegrass, but still have that back-country dirt road feel. You can't really classify them as anything... but fantastic! Through the course of an Avett Brothers album you have the opportunity to feel every emotion. The lyrics are meaningful, the harmonies are beautiful, and the skill with which the instruments are played is impressive. But most of all I just really like listening to these guys. They are definitely one of my favorite bands.
