I once ran screaming down the street chasing a very gracious Bob Crawford --- and this was back before the days of Rolling Stone and DMB, so I'm pretty sure that was the first time it had ever happened to him. He was wonderful, and hugged me hard for a long time, and thanked me for my obvious enthusiasm. Shocked) We have since become great acquaintances, and he always remembers me (and my kids) at shows.

I also very embarassingly tell Seth that "I love him" every time I see him. To the point that now when he sees me, he says "I think you love me, don't you?" ha ha

And then there was this one time . . .
I was very intoxicated and had the amazing opportunity to have a real one on one conversation with Scott backstage at SpringFest a few years back. He was also very gracious, and we talked about how great Live Oak is, and then moved on to the future of music in the new digital age (? not sure how we got there). And to this day, I feel like I should have walked away with some serious and wise Scott insight, but I'm embarrassed to say I remember very little of the conversation, and I'm sure I made a complete fool of myself. Needless to stay, I lay off the pre Avett c***tails a little these days.
