4/20 was a night i'll never forget. I had only heard a few of the Avett's newer songs before the show and by the end of it i had a new favorite band. Looking back on it, i wish i'd been more familiar with the songs, they had a KILLER setlist.

Truth and Salvage was excellent.

I knew I loved the Avett Brothers already, but had never seen them live. It added a whole new dimension...a girl in line with me said it'd change my life and now I know what she meant! 2 days later and I haven't stopped singing yet. Plus, the fans are just good people...singing Avett songs outside the theater hours before showtime. Plus lots of NC peeps, which just made my day. I couldn't believe the set list either. At times I wished everybody in the crowd wasn't singing along so I could better appreciate the boys' voices, but it's beautiful how everybody loves the songs and sings together...and I did get that intimate quieter feeling I wanted when Scott sang If It's the Beaches...a song new to me that brought tears to my eyes. If I wasn't almost crying, I was grinning ear to ear and the energy they brought to the stage was incredible. THANK YOU GUYS...it was an awesome night and I can't wait to see you again!!

Day 2 in Boulder...maybe even better than Day 1!

4/20 was awesome--a laid back show at a place that TAB has rocked before. I am unbelievably excited for tonight!!!
