Agreed, you guys need to play MerleFest again this year. It's open on your tour schedule. Hop a plane from Louisiana. You can stay at my place. No joking around, you can.

would love for the avett brothers to come back to merlefest again. i think a lot of the long time music junkies that have gone to merlefest forever would really get a KICK out of an avett brothers show. certainly wouldn't be like anything else there

Awesome show! We were cooking and so were the boys. Was a little bummed that everybody rushed the boys at the creekside stage when their dad's group was playing and they tried to show up and enjoy it. Not cool. Still anohter greta year at MerleFest made even better becasue the Avett family was there.

It was kind of like a religious experience. I'm ashamed to say it was my first time going to Merlefest even though I only live 30 minutes away. Also, my first time seeing a Avett Brothers show. It was great - really, really great! Tons of people from all generations and backgrounds, so much energy in the crowd and on the stage, great weather and GREAT music! I wish I could re-live it and I'm trying hard to in my head. Got to meet the guys after the show and get autographs and pictures. Seth and Scott were so humble, so polite, so willing to sign autographs and take photos. They even went over to the fence for fans who couldn't get "back stage". Its obvious they really appreciate their fans. I hope to attend another show in the near future, but in terms of the whole atmosphere I don't think anything can compare to Merlefest. I really, really hope you guys play Merlefest again next year. I am a fan for life. Thank you for such a great show.

Is there a way to buy tickets for just the Avett Brothers show, or do you have to buy a day pass to Merlefest for Sunday? I really don't want to pay $40 for the festival when I just want to see the Avetts! Online ticket retailers don't have them.

So did anyone find tickets anywhere else?

Very excited about Merlefest - although hopefully additional shows in the area will be added. Merlefest is a GREAT festival - but so crowded - and SO MANY BANDS! Can get my TAB fix there, but really want a show that is all about them! How's about Greensboro - or even Bojangles again - that was great.

This will be my first time to attend the Merlefest and it looks like it will be so much fun..... They will no doubt put on an amazing show. CAn't wait to see them here.

Wait, the presale's only for GA tix? What if you want tix for the whole weekend, and a seat for the main event so you can be up close, not way back behind the fence in GA?

Does this fest sell out that fast that I NEED to buy pre-sale to avoid missing out? Are reserved tix that hard to come by?

I saw them at the Boston House of Blues and cant wait for merle fest! i thought the brothers were amazing on cd but the were even better live. SOO EXCITED!

Always wanted to go to Merlefest...add the Brothers and I'm definitely going! BTW...I called the Merlefest 800 number, they said they are mailing the tickets when they get printed.....

I knew they would make it back they rocked it before they'll rock it again.
