I asked a few co-workers to this show...none of which had ever heard of the Avett Brothers.......by the end of the show both had cried....and both had stood up and given a standing applaud......they later told me that this concert changed their lives.....and at that point I told them that this music...this experience......the Avett Brothers.....in Savannah, GA......was the best concert I ever attended......I hope the brothers come back soon....and I hope to give my co-workers better seats.....to allow them to understand the emotions that the entire band puts into the music.....It was truely a moving experience for my entire party....

The Avett Brothers and the audience made a clear connection after it became clear: "WE were there because we loved them and their music." They realized it and seemed ten times more lively and willing to play their music for us. The fact that they came out for two encores, I think, says it all. Even though they never played my favorite song, "Kick Drum Heart" they played a variety of the songs. At times it seemed they were trying to test and see how loyal of fans we were. They would dig into their old albums and start on up and the audience would immediately be dancing along while singing the words perfectly. I can imagine that this surprised them but made them very happy to know that their wonderful music was spreading throughout all generations. Thank you and please please please come again.

So excited about this show. My mother-in-law to be got a hold of "Carolina Jubalee" and loved it. Now she is going with my boyfriend and I to see the Avetts in Savannah, GA. Recruited another Avett Brothers lover and two generations now attending their shows. How awesome!

The show was amazing...We rented a car and drove 7 hours from Palm Beach County, FL. The car rental place was out of the full size sedan I reserved so they gave me a Toyota Matrix. We had 4 men all over 6'1'' and a little lady at 5'2'' cramped in that thing singing TAB songs all 450 miles. None of this was a waste the show was amazing and Savannah was beautiful (my first visit...now I know not my last)

I am glad they are coming closer this year and all the same crew has purchased tickets for the Clearwater, FL show in March this year.

Saw them in the Fabulous Fox theater on New Year's Day -- thrilled to take family again to see TAB in Savannah! Beautiful city. Anybody been to a concert at the Johnny Mercer Theater -- how're the acoustics?

Who's opening for the Brothers at this show? Somebody told me Merle Haggard would be playing with them. Is it true?

I've been signed up for the newsletter for months now and never got an email about the presale.
I'm bummed to say the least and hopeful that I can get tix tomorrow.

I was online at 12:00 sharp and it was sold out. Who bought all these pre-sale tickets? If you're out there and you hogged tickets, please let me know. I'll be happy to pay your jacked-up price to get good seats. If you bought more than 4, you took advantage of the system and screwed people who have been email newsletter members for a long time. Boys, if you actually get to see this, how about re-booking at a bigger venue and giving the real fans another shot at pre-sale seating?

I am crushed that I couldn't get the presale tickets. They should have had any tech issues sorted out before promising so many people presale eligibility. Does anyone know when regular tickets go on sale? Hopefully these things won't be an issue then.

I have never seen the Avetts and would really like to make it to this show.

I'm buying mine at midnight if they let me. I'm very excited that they'll be this far south. I thought we wouldn't be seeing them until the fall. Anybody who knows about the venue? I'd love some seating advise.
