the avetts brought a refreshing rain with an energetic, well-played set saturday evening at roo. katie and i were very lucky to get as close as we did, as the crowd built up quickly after we arrived. they definitely made the blistering heat and 7-hour line (with no a/c) to get inside roo well worth it. i cant wait to see them again in nashville in october. thanks for playing all the southeast dates! much love. see you soon.

I'm from Tennessee and Manchester is just an hour from my hometown but I've never been to bonnaroo, but knowing that the Avett Brothers will be there....it's definitely worth the trip!!
