Got 4 great presale tickets today, but like others have said... it's a shame that it's in Bridgestone when the Grand Ole Opry and Ryman are meant for a band like this!
I was really excited about this show, because I've missed The Avett Brothers the last two years. But I'm not going. Tickets are way too expensive, which sucks, really badly. I mean, it would cost more than 100 bucks to get a half-way decent seat. I'm really disappointed with the whole situation.
It's been a couple years since I've been to a show - decided last night that I'm going to hit this one.
Have the PW, but how do I buy? Don't see a link...
I really thought hard about going to this show for my birthday (which is the 30th). My first & only Avett experience so far was at Beale Street Music Festival. It was outdoors & small & fun... I think a huge arena would just ruin the experience for me!
First time seeing them live and although the show was pretty great, I think it would have sounded better in a smaller venue like the Ryman. I thought the sound was a bit loud, which I thought sorta drowned out their vocals. Overall, I thought it was great!
I am so incredibly happy that they've made it to where they can play such huge venues, but I'm totally sad all in the same breath. Those Ryman shows were special. I was hoping that no matter what, that tradition would continue. Missed the email & tried getting seats via Grimey's presale, but they suck. Can we still get tix through the band's presale? Are they any better? Anyone have the link if so? :/

Re: Nashville, TN
When do tickets go on sale? What's up with presale, is it too late for that?

How can this not be an amazing show? Wow!
My career plans were much more exciting when I was five.

Can't wait. Terrible venue though! Cannot beat the Ryman.

Fantastic show - great first experience at one of these truly gifted artists' concerts! I can't wait to do it again...
Re: Nashville, TN
My first time seeing them live, and I also was hoping for a smaller venue:( I'm sure they'll sound incredible, even if it is soooo very far away...
Re: Nashville, TN
I am wanting to upgrade my floor seats to the GA floor seating. Is there any way I can do that? Also, how does one get backstage passes?

Re: Nashville, TN
Can't wait to see you guys again in Nashville, but like most people definitely sad it won't be at the Ryman like the past few years!

Anyone have an idea on the presale?? I didn't get the passcode either....
...and yes, I am a little crushed as well that it's at Bridgestone this year.
