who is opening for VA Tech show? or are Avetts going it alone??

How the hell do I get tickets? They were supposed to go on sale yesterday!

If anyone is going past JMU (Harrisonburg, VA) to the concert and is willing to give me and my friend a ride please let me know! We will pitch in for gas money.

Dear Avett Brothers, Dane, & Co.,

I am a fan from Western North Carolina, who has been to several of your shows and I’ve loved every one. You guys are so talented and energetic… and that energy you put out, envelops your fans, making your shows such a great experience. I have met some of the nicest people. I dropped my license and debit card at your last Greensboro show and it was mailed to me by a fan, three days later. 
The purpose of this letter is to beg a favor for my daughter, who has no idea I am doing this. Her name is Taylor Boyd and she is currently a student at Western Carolina University, in Cullowhee, NC. She has taken up photography on the side, and is truly enjoying this hobby. She just shot her first wedding, alone, and ended up with some beautiful photos. Sylva, NC, where I live is five minutes from Cullowhee. We are 45 minutes from Asheville. Anyway, she is getting all kinds of flack from other “photographers” in the area, who, unfortunately gain access to her website and make crappy comments.....mostly out of jealousy. She is really struggling with the put-downs and the needless, mean things, that are being said. She seems to have an innate talent, with the camera, and I hate to see that talent squashed because she believes what others say.
Here is what I am begging. I have tickets; at will call, for the Blacksburg, VA show (Burruss Auditorium), at Virginia Tech, on November 11th. My daughter and I will be at the show. Is there any way, possible, that she might be able to take some quick close-up photos of you guys, to put on her Facebook website (Taylor Boyd Photography & Accessories). She also makes jewelry. Excuse my “French,” but that would be so ‘kick ass’ for her. It might actually shut some mouths, for a while. Maybe she could come down front (not sure where our seats are), for a bit…..or backstage would work – Ha Ha. I’ll stay in my seat. I am not asking for myself, but for her.
I understand you guys may have certain rules that don’t allow for you to do this kind of thing, but please think about it! PLEASE

P.S. My boss, Jon Terry, and his brother (Scott), are from Concord and he knows how much I love you guys. Evidently, Scott painted a portrait of their family, when you guys were in high school (I think). He brags about it, to me, all of the time. I tried to buy it  Also, Dane H. knows him – can I name drop anymore?

Maybe they are really playing at Dedmon Center at Radford Woman's College of Nursing.....Joke
