What is this fantasy football of which you speak? Do you play using broadswords or phasers? You mean there is something more to life than music?

I've played on NFL.com, espn, yahoo and fox before. Honestly, Fox is the worst. Out of NFL, ESPN, and Yahoo, they each have their benefits. I vote for ESPN. Any objections?

I've thought about joining a fantasy league. But I don't know anything about putting together a fantasy team. It's way too complicated and involved, I'm afraid.
ETA: Just realized that last line makes me sound like a dumb girl who don't know sh*t about football. Not the case, actually. Seriously, fantasy leagues intimidate me.

I'd love to join but I'm already in two leagues and keeping track of two rosters on Sundays is a challenge. Hopefully this is a success and it happens again next year.
Luvmuffyn - it's not that hard. It ends up making you pay more attention to all teams rather than just your favorites and by next season you'll be an expert. Take a look at a FF magazine in the bookstore for draft tips or just go in to the online draft and pick the highest ranked player available for the first few rounds and then fill out your roster in the later rounds with positions that you still need. YOU CAN DOOO IT!

It's not like I have anything I SHOULD be working on this fall, like school work. Pssh.
Any ideas about a prize? If everybody offered up a piece of Avett swag to throw in, it'd be a healthy pot. I'd be willing to put up a rare or signed Avett goodie if someone else will. Or, I like Reiggin's idea of a signed football. I'm sure one of us could pull that off between now and the playoffs.
Make sense? Or y'all just wanna do this for kicks? IMO, having a cool prize like autographed Avett swag would make it a lot more interesting.

For my league a few of us thought it would be fun to find an old trophy, modify it with Avett stuff and award it to the league winner.
I like the idea of a signed football.
