BTW, the capacity for the venue (Kings) is 250 people. Yall might wanna act on this fast.

Bought 8 tix. I think the tickets sold in seconds. They waited until the last minute to announce this. Fortunately I stayed home from class today and was able to catch the event online. See you all there.

Would love to buy 1 or 2 tickets if anyone has any extras. Thanks

Ever since the surprise Cat's Cradle show I've made a big effort to avoid missing another announcement like this. Really frustrating to log on an hour late and see this. Should be a really special show.

I still expect it will be a fun evening even if the Avett Brothers are only allotted 25 minutes.

I'd love to buy a ticket from someone with an extra. Please help me out!

I as well am looking for 1 or 2 tickets, I was on the site at 12 and it kept saying they were not available

I was on at 12 also and couldn't get tickets.

If anyone has a spare ticket, I'd love one as well. You can call or text me at 980-233-1six62. Smiling

I tried at noon, but no go Sad Hope whoever got tickets has fun!

I would imagine there will be lots of band intermingling.

I would give an arm and a leg for a ticket, contact me if you have one come available at mcoward(at)med(dot)unc(edu). Thanks!!!

A 4th venue was added to this event so there are more tickets on sale. No need to pay stupid amounts of money for a ticket on the secondary market.

Thank you so much! The only problem I see with this is that even though a 4th venue opened up, I think a disproportionate amount of people who buy these new tickets will be at Kings to see the brothers (like me.)

Also, does anyone else find it strange that the Brothers have the shortest set time of any band there?

Yes, I see that as a huge problem. It looks like the Lincoln holds more people, though, maybe 500.

I didn't really notice that, they are all pretty short sets. I'm hoping a lot of folks will go to see the bands at the other venues first but I'm not betting on it.

Just got some tickets, thanks for the heads up. I am expecting a huge line around the block for Kings. I imagine they will have to defer people to the other venues when Kings reaches capacity.

Only one 1 out of 5 of the people with tickets will be able to get into Kings. I know not everyone who bought tickets will be trying to see the Brothers but I suspect many people will be disappointed that night.

What time are you guys thinking of getting there? I work until 5 right outside Raleigh...I'm hoping going straight there will be enough time.

You can pretty much bet that there will be a line outside Kings starting in the morning. I bought a bunch of tickets thinking I was going to see them and the realized how short their set was going to be. Ill hit up the lincoln and the pour house instead.

In the morning?? Geez people, go to work. I find it hard to believe there will be 250 people in line before mid afternoon.

But Lincoln will definitely be my #2 as well. HGTR and Bombadil.

Anyone still need a ticket? As an NC State student, I can't justify going to this over watching my boys play in the sweet 16 next Friday. Just looking to get back what I spent on the ticket. PM if interested.

I have two extra tickets for tonight. Email me at zdshapiro@gmail.com if interested. Selling for face ($25/each).

I am going tonight, and can't wait, but am stuck at work at the moment! What time do those of you that are going, think you will line up? I am sure there are already lots of people waiting.

Does anyone have any idea how many tickets were sold?

1000 total I believe.
