Josh, this is the way I've been playing it on guitar. The lyrics are from the clip you referenced. It's a pretty easy one, a lot of C's and F's. I've been playing it with a capo on the 3rd fret w/ my guitar tuned down a half-step. Anyway, I hope this helps. This is a beautiful song! -Doug
(C) Load the car and (F) write the (C) note

(C) But it don't pay to (F) live like like (C) that
(C) So i cut the ties and i (F) jumped the (C) tracks
(Am) For never (G) to (F) return
(C) Ah Brooklyn, Brooklyn (F) take me (C) in
Are (C) you aware the (F) shape I'm (C) in?
My (C) hands they shake, my (F) head it (C) spins
Ah (C) Brooklyn, Brooklyn (F) take me (C) in
(C) When at first I (F) learned to (C) speak
(C) I used all my (F) words to (C) fight
With (C) him and her, and (F) you and (C) me
Oh but it's (Am) just a (G) waste of (F) time
Oh it's (Am) such a (G) waste of (F) time
That (C) woman she's got (F) eyes that (C) shine
Like a (C) pair of stolen (F) polished (C) dimes
She (C) asked to dance I (F) said it's (C) fine
I'll (Am) see you (G) in the (F) morning (C) time
(C) Ah Brooklyn, Brooklyn (F) take me (C) in

INTERLUDE

Bham...thanks so much man! Hope you have a Happy New Year!!
Thanks and the same to you!
You guys know that a capo on the third fret with the guitar tuned down half a step is the same thing as a capo on the second fret, right?
Yes, but I keep my guitar tuned a half-step down most of the time and that's where the capo was for that song.
Just picking with you Bham.
