If you have a minute and would like some (lovely) free music, Scattered Trees, a band from my hometown, has their new album up for a free download right now. While they may not be the next Avetts, their music is honest and wonderful.
They are an indie/rock band who are at a point in their careers where they really need to broaden their fanbase, and I know Avett fans are always looking for new music when the boys are in between albums. So check out the album, Sympathy, which is about the recent passing of the frontman's father.
