I am watching Braveheart on TNT and a commercial comes on for a TV show called "saving grace" and the background music is Head Full of Doubt, anyone else seen this....totally unexpected.

I don't watch the show either, but watch lots of Law & Order re-runs on TNT and just saw/heard it too! Way cool!

Almost fell off my chair when I was watching Men of a Certain Age last night and heard the Brothers during the Saving Grace promo! Very cool!
Just saw the promo for Saving Grace while watching SOUTHLAND. Had to check the board to see what's up.
Oh, in case you missed it--a few years ago I couldn't sleep and in the middle of the night I turn on the TV and am watching Braveheart ., and Bruce the Younger screams at his father, "I DON'T WANT TO LOSE HEART." You know, "like that actor said...." Told the story to Seth a few weeks later and he told me I was the second person to get the reference.
Just saw it! Turned on TNT in hopes of hearing it and sure enough!

Random note...."Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise" was not even one of my favorites on the new album. I liked the song okay, but it wasn't necessarily my favorite. Well...NYE in Asheville there was a guy sitting in the aisles (not sure if he had a seat or not), and he was FEELING this song. He was singing and dancing and thrashing around and LOVING it. So, needless to say, I feel differently about this song now. I think about this random guy every time it comes on and how much it affected him. It was very cool.
I am also guilty of watching Law & Order reruns- and I saw this ad.
I wanted to yell for someone to come in and hear it, alas, I was home alone.
sethfan- I enjoyed your post! I love the experience of watching others enjoy TAB at shows. We really are the coolest group of fans!

I'm a fan of the early Avetts but tonight I had my back turned to the TV and hear a beautiful sound.... THE AVETTS ON A COMMERCIAL FOR A CABLE TV PROGRAM (SAVING GRACE) Always love to hear them..... just like DBT a great little band on its way to being one of the next "historic bands"
