First Post. Might have been discussed before. Might seem a little weird.. anyways...
Am I the only one that wonders if Scott had braces? I'm just curious cause his teeth are perfect!! My mother's a dentist and it's the first thing I notice in people. (other than the beards.)

Well....we know Bonnie (their older sister) had them per track 15 on Carolina Jubilee, so it would be reasonable to assume he probably had braces too.
She has a nice smile also. I wouldn't doubt it. I have em' too. :/

i have commented before on how great Seth's teeth are, but you're right, Scott has some good choppers too. I notice peoples' teeth almost immediately.

As much as I love the boys, which is an incredible amount, I often wonder about their teeth. They are so perfect and huge- have they been capped? If not, God bless their DNA. Their teeth are awesome.

My boyfriend swears they were capped. I forget which performance it was when they were doing the tv runs but it was pretty clear that close in HD. I tried to deny it but they did look a little like Matt Dillon's in Something About Mary

This thread is hilarious!!! I really hope they check in here once inawhile, just for kicks! I have noticed and made mention of their teeth before, I would be absolutely shocked if they were capped. It's genetics...I bet Jim and Susie have similar chops as they also have similar hair. I have even tried to imagine Seth with gray hair like his dad's! As for the noticing and such...I bet there is a biological preference, for lack of a better word towards healthy/"good" teeth, like symmetry and child-bearing hips

Oh, not sayin' that I would personally kick someone out because of their jacked up grill, altho, i guess I would prefer some teef, i suppose...just trying to understand, why it is typically deemed preferable among the teeming masses...

This is the greatest thread, and you know what, I too have noticed their pretty teeth! Smiles and teeth are one of the first things I notice in everyone. Glad I'm not alone, and I also think the brothers' teeth is a product of genes/braces/and excellent brushing habits, haha.

When I do that, I wonder about their wives/friends/family who read here- if they do- and what they think of this insanity? If you are they: I apologize. I am most sane in every other aspect of my life. I promise.
If people analyzed my teeth, or my husband's? Yeah. We'd be in trouble. Neither one of us wore our retainers.

hmmm...not sure about genetics, Grampa Clegg had some rough looking teeth and Seth is his spitting image. I'd chalk it up to good orthodontics and hygiene. I image that after one child had to have gum grafts at a young age, Jim made sure the boys took good care of their teeth.
And yeah... I think most of us (especially we females) analyze the boys a bit much. But then again, when aren't girls picking apart boys?
Very funny! I love Seth's smile and I have always noticed that Scott's seems perfect. His look like they were capped though. It's so funny that so many people have wondered the same thing!
PGfromAtlanta, thanks for inspiring me to go back & listen to track 15 on carolina jubilee. Everyone should do this. It's so, so cute to hear their little voices. Favorite parts: When Seth blurts out that Bonnie's teeth were rotten when Jim asked her about the visit to the dentist; When Scott tells seth he can't kiss & hug him when they start going to school together; When scott says daddy kicks my butt about everyday. Love it!!!
