Hey Folks,
Does anyone know where i might find the 3 Darling cd's? I'd really like to find them and complete my avett bros. collection.

'The Mourning, The Silver, The Bell' was on iTunes at one point. It's probably still for sale there. Otherwise I think the others are still out of print and pretty hard to come across.

Killing The Headlamps and To Make The World Quiet are no longer available. At least presently.

they sold some hard copies of the mourning, the silver, the bell last year at the asheville shows. i'm not sure if they still have any to sell.

Steph said that those were the last 15 (or maybe it was 30) copies of the album, and that they had just recently been found. Prior to that it was already pretty much out of print. I'm really glad I snagged one at those shows! If only I had done that with Oh What a Nightmare as well...

sadly i haven't yet acquired the albums that are out of print by the avett brothers or darling, but i'm always lookin'! = ]
I wish this board was either divided into better subcategories or the search function was easier to use - might cut down on posts being duplicated. like if there was a sub-board under Avetts called "Side Projects" and under that "Nemo, OWAN, Darling" etc.

The other Darlings are being "remastered" or they have plans to, much like Country Was was. I imagine they'll do this soon to ride out the ILU cashcrop.
I agree, JR, there are so many repeat topics lately it's hard to keep track. If information was all in once place people wouldn't be asking the same questions again and again. I'd love to see some sub-categories and maybe a sticky thread with FAQ.

Funny you say that, we were talking about that over in another thread. While we're happy to have new fans on the boards, there needs to be some sort of stickied threads or board disclaimer saying "Search before you post, chances are your questions have been asked several times."

Thank you! I just ordered all 3. I already had gotten them from iTunes, but I'm glad to get hard copies also. I wish I could get the earlier TAB CDs/Albums.
I was just listening to Captain on Killing the Headlamps today...love that song! ♥ Of these 3 albums, this one's my fav!!
Killing the Headlamps is my favorite also, love Captain and For All the Times. All 3 albums are lovely.
