They played some of my faves and my least favorite (Four Thieves Gone).
I was hoping for Bella Donna and Late In Life.

how cool is it that they don't (have to) play the same 6 songs over and over and over @ these opening slot shows!?
Chrisvant is dead on! It's pretty comforting to see that they are not doing that. Even when thrown into the spotlight they continue to be exactly the same band we have all loved for so long.
Yeah, I was just thinking that they are really mixing these shorter sets up a LOT. It would be easy to play a more mainstream setlist (whatever that means, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't include Four Thieves Gone), but they're not. Very cool.
And so many bands who were playing for huge crowds as an opener for the first time would do exactly that. Play the same set every night, made up of songs that are the catchiest. They however are digging into the catelogue, and playing the ones the want to play, just as they always have. Yay, for your boys!!
