Well, congratulations on your new album - everyone in the world seems to love it.

Now, I can appreciate your well written songs and creative lyrics and I've heard the argument that you are expending your horizons by moving forward. Today, I was missing my home back in the appalachian mountains and thought the cure would be spending a little hard earned cash on the new album to hear those sweet melodies of the Avett Brothers. I was expecting to hear the great bluegrass music I've listened to for years so please understand if I say I couldn't help but feel disappointed when I listened to I and Love and You for the first time.

I was so stoked to see The Avett Brothers on New Music Tuesday on CNN!!! What a great review, I especially liked when Peter said The Avett Brothers are the only band he's seen in Los Angeles that actually had the crowd moving the entire time from the first song until the last. I'm glad The Avett Brothers are finally getting the recognition they deserve =)

@lnevedal Yes we are still waiting too! Our package just left Tennessee! If it wasn't for the Skyroo download we would be so, so sad! We have been rockin' to the album. I thought I wouldn't like some songs but when you hear the soul of the Avett's come through you can't deny the rush!

I'm still waiting for my vinyl edition of I and Love and You. I thought sure it would be here today, but it wasn't. I'm actually really feeling out of the loop, which is odd because I pre-ordered my copy to make sure I got it as soon as it was available. Is anyone else feeling jipped?

My wife and I are so stoked about the Ryman gig. We live in Ohio and we make a trek to Nashville whenever possible and when we saw that The Avetts were going to be there we decided it was a good time to head back down. The Ryman is a wonderful venue and adding The Avetts make it that much better. We got 3rd row balcony seats = awesome! Is anyone dressing up for the show? Seeing as it is Halloween and all.

By the way, I LOVE THE NEW ALBUM!!! Hasn't left my stereo since I got it!!

You may want to check on that, because I had a processing error as well.. It turns out, they charge you right before they send it, not when you ordered it. I had changed my bank account since i ordered it so they had to get my current info...

Because I ordered this 28 days before the release, only to find that the day of the release when checking on the status it said there was an "processing error" and it couldn't have been my card because I bought like ten things that night, and all the others were fine. So now I'm left wondering if my card was charged, and sad because I have no new Avett's CD...
