I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

I came of age in the 70's.
I am not one of those people who think that was the only good music we'll ever have.
On the other hand, I'm tired of all the ironic self-awareness hipster stuff. I love the honesty and un-selfconsciousness of the Avett Brothers' music.
