The Avett Brothers is a band that has spoken to me since I was 14. Which is kind of funny, because their songs aren't exactly directed towards my age group. But they do. The lyrics of their songs are really important to me, since I'm a writer, and they're so beautiful but they're simple. They're classically simple.
I love this band more than a lot of things in my life. I love their music, no matter what. I love their live shows-- I've been to nine as of October 2009, and each one is perfect in every sense. I love them as people; I've never met them, but I watched the "I And Love And You" installments and they just seem like wonderful people. Plus, I believe that they're the kind of songwriters that leave a little (or a lot) of themselves with each piece.
