Well, I got hooked on classic rock from my dad early on... wasn't satisfied... began to listen to country because the lyrics were more down to earth...still wasn't satisfied. Began to dig bluegrass but that still felt like something better had to be out there. One day while rifling through some Bob Dylan stuff, I came across a song created from one of his quotes by Old Crow Medicine Show (Wagon Wheel). I thought I had found the band of all bands (still an enormous fan) it suited my liking... until one day while listening to Pandora radio, Pretty Girl from Cedar Lane began to play... I remembering stopping and saying "Holy s***, what is that!" I am now a Avett Junkie... it is just about the only music I listen and play.
