i'm so glad i took my pal's recommendation...and saw the avetts at the echo project in october of 2007. i had heard some of their music on disc, and really liked what i heard live on the robbinsville sessions album, but had never seen the boys play. i was HOOKED when i saw the playful, passionate energy they put into their performance. since then, i've had the privilege of seeing them half a dozen times and turning other folks onto the band. i'm not a very excitable person by nature, but the avett brothers make me jump up and down!
