I'm a fan (and I tell everyone they should be one too) because... from the first moment I heard "I and Love and You" the lyrics spoke to me. As a lover of words and an aspiring novelist, I always pay attention to the lyrics in songs. Every song I've heard from the Avetts is like an ocean of poetic love. And their lyrics in conjunction with their vocals and harmonies are enough to bring tears to my eyes. Every song I hear, I feel as though my heart is being cradled in their hands. It's a great feeling that I think many others have probably felt as well. I wish I had learned of the Avetts much sooner, but regardless of when it was, I'm thankful that I have. I'm excited to see what the future brings with this incredible group!
