I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...there's a lyric or melody for every emotion you've ever encountered in an avett song...it's genuine and raw and whatever mess you're in, you'll be consumed by the words they've found for you...or the ones that you were too afraid to say for yourself. I've seen a lot of live shows...my parents raised festival babies and i'll be proud to do the same, but i've never seen a band who seems to love what they do as much as these guys. The avetts found me at Springfest 2007 and i've never been more driven as a musician, a writer, an individual to find the chords and lyrics that God's put in my soul. i'm gonna dig them out and give the love i've found until it's gone. the avetts are infectious...consider yourself warned.
