We're Headed Overseas!

It seems it's about time we paid you all a visit... This Spring we will be headed overseas!
Our journey will take us through Ireland, the UK, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Norway and Sweden in March... then off to Australia for a few shows in April.

This will make the European Avett Nation so BLOODY happy! And there is already buzz about the Americans making trips to attend these shows. Dublin the weekend before St. Pattys? Oh, I say yes!!
No Glasgow or Edinburg...bummer. Guess those blokes can go the Garage in London. I'll go spread the word.

Great that they are headed abroad. Nuts that I can't make it to any. Maybe next year there will be some out of US dates in the Summer. All the best to the guys!

When will you come to Canada??
I am a 52 year old mother of 3 grown up children who were rasied with all kinds of music playing at home. I often listen to the spectrum radio show on my sirius sattelite radio while I travel to and fro. The first time I heard the song, "I and Love and you" I was so moved by both the lyrics and the beautiful voice I heard singing this lovely song, that I had to find out more about this group of men who are known as "The Avett Brother's".
How can it be that I have not heard of you before? I have been a music lover all of my life and pride myself in the knowledge I have of so many bands and their repetoire of music, so how can it be that i have missed out on having the joy of listening to a band that in my opinion is everything I love in a band. The gift of your obvious musical talent and the sheer beauty of the raw emotion in your heartfelt lyrics has touched a chord in me and I can honestly say this is the first time I have ever taken the time to let anyone know that!
I wish you great success and I know that with this great selection of songs on your most recent CD, that there is a wonderful future ahead for you all.
Please consider Ontario, Canada will you? I would be there to see you in a heart beat, my adult kid's right there with me!!

Glad to see the Brothers doing some time in Europe and Oz....bummer that I will be in Germany in a couple of weeks and Paris in February....wish I would have known sooner....I will be in Bangkok from Feb to May, could you please come to Thailand??

Amsterdam
The Amsterdam show magically coincided with my ski group's visit to Amsterdam. It will be our last night in Europe on nearly a 2 week visit. I've talked at least four other group members into coming to the show. Should be a blast, especially since it will be in a small room.
