I was a little surprised to say the least, when I heard you guys were touring with John Mayer. He may know how to play his guitar but his Ego is way too big for me!!
Here is an example of a musician who has let fame and fortune ( and all the bling, women etc,etc, that comes along with it~ change him!) ( or maybe he already loved himself too much!!) Never, would I want to see any of you 4 talented and down to earth," real men" become anything like him.
I do not feel that your music style is even remotely alike! So, yes I am quite surprised and dissapointed by this.
Why don't you give Mr. John Prine a call?? He may not be mainstream but he has touched more people for his raw honesty , the sheer beauty of his lyrics, his sing along, tap along, make yourself laugh and cry music, that it does'nt matter if the masses approve!! He already has such a following!! And he is the same guy that he was from the day he started!!! ( just a little older!) I hope you guys use better judgement next time you decide to tour with a so called big name!
~ Oh and one more thing~ you guys don't need any"big name" to help sell records, your music alone will do the talking!!!~
