I like the overall finished quality of the album and how it just flows out.
I definately hear what you all mean abou tbeach boys, but I've been calling it a buddy holly (that time frame etc) sound. Yet totally distinct to the avetts. When I listen to Salina, I can't help but think of Willie Nelson when scott comes in right at the beging.
I love the humming right after the chorus on weight of lies.
Also, the staggered "blame" on shame just gets me.
