As a long time fan also, I wasn't sure how to take the news about the shows with DMB. I hadn't decided whether I would catch one of the shows or not. That was until Wednesday night.

I went to the NYE show with my girlfriend and halfway through the show, I'm not sure during which song, she turned around and said 'Let's go to the Dave Matthews show in April.' I just said 'Ok'. So I guess we'll be there. You forget how much you love these guys until your standing in awe of them in person. I'm only a couple shows shy of 20 and I still enjoy them as much as the first ones.

Now for different reasons than then. One of my favorite parts about seeing the Avetts is enjoying it with people who are lucky enough to be seeing them for the first time. I can't think of a bigger chance to enjoy that than with 20k+ dave matthews fans. :biggrin:
