I'm so glad this thread has resurfaced! I finally had an Avett dream that I remembered last week.

My friend and I were going back to our high school to watch them do a production of high school musical. About half way through the play, it turned into an Avett Brothers concert. Scott came out and was wearing some tribal looking mask and had his face painted white. He was doing some Irish jig/African dance playing the accordion. I was trying really hard to be supportive in this new look and sound by clapping along. But then I turned to my friend and said "I just don't get it." Then she got on me about how I only liked the "old" Avetts and was not receptive at all to their new image. I think this shows my fear of them changing too much!
