the very first song i ever heard was "if it's the beaches," and i was immediately hooked. not long after, they became my favourite band and i hardly ever listen to anything else any more. my friends say i have an unhealthy obsession (but they just don't get it!). i think that if that one song had such a profound effect on me, it might do the same for others.
