Having seen the Avetts open up for Dave Matthews in Raleigh this spring and being lucky enough to see them on New Years Eve (my birthday) in Charlotte this past year, I felt extremely lucky to be in Michigan when they came to the D. Amazing show and ranks right up there with my birthday, I love these guys and can't wait to see them on the 8th of August for a little homecoming down in Charlotte!

I was bummed when I found out the Avett Brothers were coming to Grand Rapids on the 18th because I was in Chicago BUT even better they're coming to Detroit Yay! I even have a couple of friends to bring. See you all there!

For my wife and I being in detroit with our little girlie is full circle. We met in detroit 12 years ago and have not been back in about 6 years. We absolutly love detroit for alot of reasons. One being able to eat at one of the best pizza places in the US. Pizza Poppalas. Its in Greektown which is about 6 mins from the fest. Hope everyone has a great time and to any of the parents taking their kids, WOW! Our daughter is the biggest small person fan ever. She knows almost all of the words to all songs and she's only 2.6 years young. Ya dig. See ya all in grass.

Were coming ! And so excited to mingle with all the other fans and do the charleston swing all night.

I saw the Avett Bros. in Grand Rapids, MI on the 18th and it was truly spectacular. I am going to the Rothbury Music Festival in Muskegon, MI from the 2nd - 5th, and even though Muskegon is less than an hour from me, I am making a 2-hour drive in the opposite direction on the 2nd to see the Avetts again. Then, back to Rothbury the same night. Might miss some good acts at Rothbury, but it's worth the drive. Best show ever!

The venue is only an hours drive for me....I will be seeing the Avetts in Chicago on the 28th and then get a second chance on the 2nd!!!!!

Someone said they play at nine pm on the main stage. And I'm a kid, so they better be allowed! (I think they are)

what time is the show? kids too?

I am missing the Ohio June shows... This will make up for my loss....I plan on bringing my nieces and sister(who are not wise to the Avetts as of YET)! What a great way to introduce my favorite music. See fellas...I'll travel for you! Can't wait!

I am seeing them in Akron, didn't think my summer could get any better and it just..got..better.

Now i can gamble away what i would've spent on a ticket @ the casinos downtown!! or drink it away @ Hockeytown Cafe! or get more MERCH! or save it instead of financing the American Dream!
