I am hopeful that a sound born in the hills of North Carolina will only be magnified in the Rocky peaks that surround Steamboat. This should be AWESOME!!!

Part of the Steamboat Springs Free Summer Concert Series

Bluegrass rock ‘n’ rollers The Avett Brothers perform a free concert on Thursday, August 20 on the Headwall run at the base of the Steamboat ski area. The show begins at 5:00 p.m. with an opening band followed by the main act. There will be food vendors, kids activities and beer sales at the concert. Please no dogs or outside alcohol. I'm writing to make sure that everyone attending this show realizes that TAB is playing another free show the night before in Telluride and that there are 2 more Colorado shows in Boulder and Denver RIGHT after this one. The Telluride show is also free, so it's like buy 2 get 2 free--an amazing deal!

Also, would anyone be interested in putting together an Avett Nation gathering before the Boulder show?
