Just wanted to let you know that the show will have at least two fans from back home in it. Me and my husband went to Mount Pleasant High School back in the day and now live in Boston, and we can't wait!

I go to school in Boston, and my parents are going to be in town that weekend for Parents' Weekend. I'm taking them out for their first (and my second) Avetts show. What's great is I know they'll enjoy it as much as I will.

If you are visiting our fair city for the show and are a fan of baseball I recommend taking a tour of Fenway Park (it's right across the street from the House of Blues). The Sox (if they are still playing) won't be playing that day. Last tour starts at 4:00

The first time seein the Avetts live is just about the best think you will experience this year (short of having a kid or getting married)...just in terms of the total and absolute passion this band and the crowd shows. SO MUCH excitement that you can't help but join in....

Boston will only be my 5th show, with the 4th one occurring the night before in NYC!!!!!! and this is all in 2009. Its just absurd and I LOVE IT.

Didn't pay the boys much attention until I heard a couple songs off the new disc on The World Cafe. Was instantly intrigued. been gobbling up the back catalog and I am hooked.

Now I am looking forward to the 29th more than just about any other release Tuesday this year.

Needless to say this will be my first show. Dragging a bud along.

My fourth time seeing the Avett Brothers. It's for my birthday too! But I'm treating myself. And I'm also taking a friend named Sarah. Weird.

Sarah is taking me for my birthday. What a friend!
