A little late to the Avett fanbase, but I'm a permanent fixture now! Great show I was very impressed. Only wish is - less seats and an open floor, but hey, it's the FOX what can you do! Only wish I'd come around years ago!

Had a wonderful time, but I sure wish they'd played the same set list I saw posted from the Asheville show on NYE.

Wow, I still can't believe it but this show is sold out and very few tix appear to be available on the resale market.
And Asheville looks to be on the verge of being sold out as well. This is gonna be a hell of a run!

So far this year we've been to Chattanooga, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, and Nashville. All of the shows were brilliant in their own way. I just saw on MySpace that Langhorne Slim is opening this show. God, I hope this is true. I saw him for the first time last weekend, at The Earl in ATL. It was amazing.

The best way to start off the New years!!! Already know this show will be amazing. My countdown to new years has began!

You Guys...Wow. 4 of us drove from Mississippi Gulf Coast to Baton Rouge show. LOVED IT!! The "Will You Come Again" vid from the back of the bus really got us hooked to begin with. Now we've recruited two more people and are driving 8 hours to the Atlanta show. Can't wait to see you guys again! We ARE your BIGGEST Mississippi fans! Hope you'll reconsider your New Orleans show. Will you "take us all for a ride"? ) You "shot our arms full of..." Avett Brothers music!

Words cannot express how great it will be to begin a New Year in the company of the Avetts. We are traveling down to GA for what will be another outstanding show. It is our 7th concert and they only keep getting better. We have followed them from their first album on and what a pleasure it has been. We all continue to grow spiritually for having this music in our life. Thank you AVB for all that you do. Now let's get ready to travel to an OUTSTANDING 2010 show!!!! Just got tickets to see the show with my wife and my brother. Saw Ben Harper there 2 years back. Pretty excited! I saw the Brothers at Variety Playhouse right up close. Can't wait to see them. I'm gonna try to get some friends to go to the Ithaca show.

This will be my 10th or so TAB show and my 19th year as a concert goer. Aside from festivals or GA shows I have never been front row and at The Fox no less?!! Absolutely can't wait!

It's hard to believe that I saw the Avett Brothers back when Mignonette was first released. They opened for a band called Carbon Leaf in a small bar in Atlanta. It's nice to see them rising to fame and selling out shows left and right. They deserve it!

i can't believe i'm going to this show~!! i'm from mt. pleasant, mi and this is the farthest i've traveled to go see TAB. to see a NYD show... i could die!!! seriously, i'm so excited. i'm flying down from mi, and i'm bring 3 avett newbies with me to experience this SURE TO BE AMAZING show!!

p.s. the reason why i am flying down to see these guys now is because the ann arbor, mi show has still not been rescheduled and i am not taking a chance in not seeing them on this tour!!! so if i can go to the ann arbor show, i get to see them twice this tour

Grew up in Decatur, near Atlanta, and saw many a show in the beautiful Fox theater (Police, Talking Heads, Grateful Dead, Elvis Costello,Devo,and too many to name) If you've never been there, you're in for fantastic treat, beautiful old movie palace from the 1920's! And no worries, even the way up high seats are good --saw Pat Methany,Zappa,and others from up there. FINALLY,my daughter(who introduced all us to TAB) gets to see them!

So what is the password?

Yeah, so, I had to jump through some hoops to get these tickets. The site was completely bunkered down on my first attempt at presale, so I missed them. So I gace the second presale a shot. Never once on this website did it mention that you needed a password from the Fox to get those on presale. Ticket masters customer service was shut down, and, even worse, they do not even recognize the words "The Avett Brothers"... when I finally got a human on the line she argued with me telling me that they didn't have tickets to the Avett brothers, just the "Vet Brothers". AAAHHHHH!!!???? Fortunately, a random consumer we made contact with on the Fox Theatre's website gave us the password. I would never deal with so much junk for any other band. I love you this much, Scott Avett. And you, too, Seth.

Easily the best way I will ever ever start a new year. This will be my first full concert. Tickets are ridiculously hard to get, but I guess this shows how popular they're getting. Hopefully they won't sell out to their popularity.

We had the same problem. I guess so many people were trying to get them, the site locked up and they were all gone by the time it worked again. Hopefully we will be able to still get good seats!

Same thing happened to me, MBERGIN. I went to the ticketing site, it loaded slow as hell, then I FINALLY got the CAPTCHA screen, entered the words and by time the page actually loaded, I was given notification that the tickets were no longer available! WTF? And not to mention that, although the page loaded slow, it was well-within the 6 minute time frame that the site stated it would hold the tickets while I completed my transaction.

This is very frustrating. And my day is now officially ruined.

It would have been nice if the ticket website worked, even though I waited all morning and chose a pair of tickets for some reason I had to start all over and then all the presale tickets were gone.

You can stop making the price for this ticket go up any day now, little bit discouraging. $5-31 in less that 21 hours? Let's hope it stops there.

My gf and I saw them here in Atl twice in April, and just saw them in Augusta. I can't believe they'll be back this way so soon!!!

I've seen you guys three times now, but this'll be the first time in GA (I live in Atlanta). And I couldn't dream of a better way to start the new year.
