I was afraid this wouldn't show up. Sounds like you guys got a good one! Did they use drums on Matrimony, do you remember?

Give the love you find until it's gone
Yes they did. So happy one of my favs ever Dream Appointed was played. That made the show for me. Low Anthem is the real deal. I have owned their most recent album(Charlie Darwin) for some time but it really takes seeing this band live to see just how talented every member truely is. Ghosts That Write History Books is just epic!

Men are just liars and thieves....."
avaman23, I agree completely. The first time I ever heard of TLA, I saw them opening up for Blind Pilot. I was blown away and absolutely love OMGCD, but I think it takes seeing them live to "get it".
Great setlist, btw.

Nothing's good because nothing lasts. And all that comes, it comes here to pass.
I would voice my pain, but the change wouldn't last.
All that comes, it comes here to pass.
Damn... thats strong. Looking for a big night tonight in the OKC!!
Thank you for the setlist. I really like the addition of Jacob on drums, he seems to fit in with them very well.
It was my first time seeing TLA, they are a very talented group.
Wait, Jacob? Drums? Did I miss something????????
He was formerly the drummer for The Midnight Shivers.
Formerly of Midnight Shivers? Does this mean he's in the band?
No, he's not in the band. He's simply the drummer for this (leg) of the tour. Don't know if he's scheduled to go overseas or not... anyone heard?

No, he's not in the band. I said formerly because The Midnight Shivers are no longer with Sam Crain. I haven't heard if he's going overseas. I actually prefer Mike over Jacob. He seems really flat, and doesn't have much style. That's just my opinion though.
Megan, so far I agree, but I only saw him on their second show together, so we'll see. as I said in another thread, Jacob seemed a bit bored, but I could've been reading it completely wrong--Mike at least seemed really happy to be there. guess time will tell.
Offering again--nice. I reeeaaallly hope to see it sometime.

Wish me luck, I know you think I'll need it.
For all the hardest roads we have to walk alone.
What a great set. A best of what they have played so far with a few old favorites added. It just makes me look forward to the next time I get to see a show.
Offering and Dream Appointed, wow! I hope they do Dream Appointed in Ann Arbor next week!!

I gave to you my ugly brown coat, you made it pretty when you put it on....
Jacob has seemed really into it the last couple of shows. I first saw him in Colubmia and didn't like him just because I was offended by the prospect of another addition to the band but in OKC he grew on me. Looking forward to seeing them all the next three days in a row!
