The Lodge on second level has two rows of bench seating looking down at the stage. These are the only reserved seats in the place. You can't get into that area without a Lodge ticket. They are GREAT seats and really the only way I would consider another show at the HOB. They are usually not sold online or during pre sales. The first row is often already reserved for people that buy them for the season. Sometimes these people don’t use them and they are sold a few weeks before the show. That's how I got mine last year. It made for a very comfortable show at what can be a very uncomfortable venue.

I think I'm going to suffer through the GA at the HOB, but only because it's 3 nights of Avett bliss. My mama wants to do one show, so I'll probably get her lodge tickets because I seriously doubt that she'll tough out a line wait/GA situation.

yea the elevated seats are the way to go on this one....that venue is just a madhouse at big shows so I will be driving in from Knoxville,TN for this run!
Heyyy, this would be a lot of fun! But considering I'm having difficulties trying to scramble funds for the Atlanta show, probably not possible. Hmmm.... mom, dad? Graduation gift?

The only thing that sucks about Loge seating is that you are not allowed to stand up, even though everyone behind you is standing. It was a little hard for me to stay seated through both shows last year. The HOB employees near us were pretty strict about this rule..
Well I considered that a small price to pay. I was down front between the crowd break and the stage for the first few songs at the Saturday show last year. Making it back through the crowd, to my seat upstairs, was a struggle. I was very happy to plant my rear in my seat, and it allowed the masses behind me a better shot at seeing the stage.

I've grown to loathe the HOB, drunken Myrtle Beach crowds, and GA TAB shows in general.

wow, Saturday sold out in 1 minute, though it may pop up again. I bought the 3 night pass, but doubt I'll go--did it pretty quickly (the terms and conditions button tripped me up!), but they are will call--shoot!

I will going to my first Avett Brothers show and my first in HOB. Have a GA but would like to know how they handle the process.
Saturday sold out before I could get the captcha to load ... and I couldn't understand the audio version at all. I work the other nights, so not willing to gamble that I can get my boss to let me have them off. Guess I'll hope there are general sale tickets left by next Tuesday when I'll have Internet access again.
ETA: Hitting refresh for 20 minutes paid off and I finally got one for Saturday. Woohoo!

Wow. That sold out in a hurry. I was on here at noon and Saturday was already sold out. I was hoping for Saturday tickets but I did get 4 for Thursday. See you there!

Don't think i can bring my self to pay money to go back to this venue. After seeing 5 heavily oversold shows there with in a year, i'm over the place. Not really sweating it thought with a summer full of good music in the southeast i'm sure i won't miss a beat. Plus i have a feeling some more South east dates will be announced, that will be doable for me.

I'll be there Thursday! I know the venue isn't ideal, but this is my only chance to see TAB this summer (unless that announce more Southeast dates for the summer), so I'm excited.

I had a press/photographers pass last year but that only granted me access to the area between the crowd barricade and the stage for the first three songs. (even that seemed to take an act of God at HOB)

its this deal that has 16 seats... apparently its a raised pit thats right beside the soundboard.... it has tables, etc and is an open area....
the people that worked there seemed pretty high on it... said you had a great view and the sound is awesome ( which figures it being beside the sound board)....
either way - i'm just glad to have reserved seats for these shows - i was really going to challenge my fandom if I didn't get reserved seats and was thinking of not making it....

That sounds great. It sounds like where I watched Counting Crows when they played there. You are lucky. I took a pass on the HOB this time around.
I have a front row pit for Savannah and I will make every effort to be in Raleigh. But as of now, I'm not headed to Myrtle Beach in Aug. Who knows? Plans sometimes change.

I was in there right at the time they went on sale... i attacked it from the internet and phone and phone was the way to go with HOB....
I hear ya Sunday - good for you on the Savannah Ticket... unfortunately I couldn't make that trip and Raleight is no longer looking good for me... I believe i have a wedding that weekend that I'm in - so we'll see....
Because i had to miss those two shows, I decided to load up for the MB run....
I may have 2 extras down the road for 2 reserved bar stools up top... I'll keep you posted...
