was on youtube and decided to watch the murder in the city video (the most viewed Avett video on youtube). And once i got to the video it said it now had 500,000 views exactly. It's pretty amazing. I can't believe how many views its received since I & Love & You came out, I believed the total has more than doubled in the past 4 to 5 months. The views for the NPR Tiny Desk video have really increased greatly in the past few months as well, which is great because I can think of no better video to introduce people to The Avett Brothers than that video.
