Looking back through my old emails (I really need to purge) ... it seems that the Avett news emails have generally been sent late morn / early afternoon - between 10:30 & 1:00 est. Hopefully they won't make us too long... we'll see.
Until then, I will refresh as often as I can. hee hee
The anticipation is killing me. I can't believe it's Friday already though, it seemed soooo far away on Monday.
I am just hoping that the mailing list didn't change when the site did. I've been checking email and checking the News page every 20 minutes or so.

It was very kind of Dave Matthews to introduce the boys. He has always seemed like such a kind, down-to-earth guy. It's nice to know that his fame hasn't stripped him of that.

remember last year at Merlefest, I think, they annouced the Koka Booth show....so maybe more of same
i think it is going to be a carolina show. that was the rumor at the chattanooga show. and the source has been pretty reliable in the past
I don't mean to sound negative but if it is a NC show announced tonight, I will be glad for all you NC folks, but a little dissappointed overall...what with all this hype and all.

My sister's BF lucked out and got two free tickets to tonights show. They found out around 3pm today. No fair! Im the one that got her into TAB! She said she would text me as soon as she heard the news. Im hoping they will post it here first...
It has now been 12 hours since I started looking for the big news today. They are just about to go on stage in Charlotte now, since they are informing the crowd, hopefully it will be soon. Ive resorted to drinking now...

Speaking of our home state - we have a special announcement for all of our Charlotte fans. On August 8th we will be playing at Bojangles Coliseum, our first hometown show since New Years Eve! Brett Dennen will open the show and this will be the first chance to get a copy of our new album,
