Please talk slowly. I don't hear good anymore.

the kids great...and how awesome that hes singing avett music. when i was a kid i was singing the doors...explains alot about my childhood.

Why must we point out the negative?
Positive vibes are where it's at.

--
The Avett song I am listening to right now is... Walkin Down the Line

Dad did just fine. It's really unnecessary to point stuff like that out.

Down with the shine,
The perfect shine.

Boatloads of shame on me.

I didn't mean it to sound as negative as it came out.

Anybody willing to perform in public should get praise.

I'm not really a d1ckhead. I have inserted foot in mouth and it will stay there the rest of the day. I am truly sorry.

Fantastic!

"Technology to wipe out truth is now available, not everyone can afford it but it's available." B. Dylan

Rejoice always, Mark

That was,a sincere and worthy apology, OSM. You're a good man, and we know it. Smiling

THAT IS THE BEST DAMN THING I'VE SEEN ALL DAY!

No negativity from me- that's just awesome! What a way to bond with your kind!

**Branch is gonna need a drum set.**

OSM rocks, as does the video.

I was singing this line all morning >>>>> things didn't work out like they should because my Ithaca adventure plans fell through. How cute is that little drummer? That'll pick up anyone's spirit!!

there's only one thing here worth hoping for

This kid is the boss. He's really working those shades too.

Props to this pops, cause his three year old rocks.

this made my day.

haha...i didn't know josh was playing drums now! i've only ever seen him on his wee guitar. most excellent.

OSM, no apology necessary. i truly hope your comments weren't seen as the negative ones, b/c i don't think they were. you sir, may remove foot from mouth Smiling

'why must we point out the negative?'
...well, apparently you just did.

"We took a pickup, a tent, and a shotgun," recalls Scott. "We went out thinking it was a wild frontier."

Chrisvant - please accept my most humble public apology. It came out completely wrong................no excuses though. My bust completely.

check out his video of them doing colorshow. it's fantastic!

"We took a pickup, a tent, and a shotgun," recalls Scott. "We went out thinking it was a wild frontier."

regarding lyrics: sometimes even the Artist forgets his/her own lyrics...or changes them up on purpose. If you've been to a TAB show, you've surely witnessed this. Not to mention, what's wrong with another artist changing things up a little? you know, putting their own flavor on the tune.

Positive vibes are definitely where it's at! and to spew negativity once is a bit harsh, twice is just mean. I wish I had the stones to put myself out there like Chris does...and I'm glad he does.

you guys are making me blush. it is weird how you can nail the dress rehearsal (my home office) and completely forget what the hell you are doing onstage. i think this was our first open mic on the river w/the drum kit, i was a bit flustered. did anyone happen to catch part two of this series where Josh sees the Ice Cream store from his vantage point on the stool? maybe the above clip is pt 2, i am at (real) work and can't see utube. plz check out pt 2 if you haven't. not only does lil J man have no prob getting up in front of ppl, he has no qualms about stopping a song mid-way through to sell me on the idea that we should put our gear down and go for an ice cream cone in front of ppl. Don't worry about the criticism, nobody can come close to the mental damage i inflict on myself, but Josh is really worth seeing, so i put it out there. Speaking of which - Josh and I will be having lunch/dinner @ the Chicago House of Blues before the show Sunday the 7th if anyone wants to come by and say hi. Nana will be taking him back to Michigan before the show starts, but i am pretty sure we will both be in attendance for Ann Arbor on the 9th and really trying to make at least the Sunday portion of Merlefest this year. Bring your sharpies. Or do we bring our sharpies? i'm still not quite sure how that whole autograph signing etiquette works. Josh usually is good for a crayon or two in his pockets, that's probably more appropriate anyways.

This is so adorable. Someone mentioned on the comments that Joe commented on a Talk on Indolence video... can't seem to find the comment, though!

Mia
just go to my youtube channel - then look for Josh on Indolence
